A string of electronic automatic telephone systems (EATS) was put into operation in Baku on July 5.
The Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies told Trend that the facilities started to operate at the settlements of Zira [ind. 456, capacity вЂ" 2,544 numbers], Pirallahy [ind. 457, capacity вЂ" 3,520 numbers], Hovsan and Bakikhanov.
The day before the Ministry inaugurated the commissioning of similar offices at the settlements of Amirjan [ind. 452/458, capacity вЂ" 11,000 number] and Yeni Surakhany [ind. 458, capacity вЂ" 2,032 numbers] on the outskirts of Baku.
“During a week, which has been announced the week of communication in the media, it is planned to commission more than 50 advanced communication facilities,” the ministry noted.
