Azerbaijan participates in the next meeting of the Organization of Regional Cooperation in Communications Sphere (ORCC). The event will be held in Tashkent from 5 to 10 September, the Post Division of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry told Trend.
The Azerbaijani delegation consists of Novruz Mammadov, the head of the Post Division of the Ministry, and Ismayil Ibrahimov, an engineer of the Information Technologies Division of the Azerpocht state enterprise, to inform the participants of the meeting about the last achievements in the Azerbaijani mail service, particularly, three-year project of the World Bank aimed at development of mail sphere.
The Ministry also noted that the 20th meeting of Post Commissions of the ORCC countries and the 10th meeting of the Council of ORCC Post Operators will be staged within the events.
Besides, the Ministry plans to hold an international seminar dedicating to application of new information technologies in the mail sphere with participation of the Post Administrations representatives of the CIS countries.
