The Baku Telephone Communication Production Association (BTCPA) carries out work on transmission of automatic telephone stations (ATS) into electronic system. Technical conditions on transmission of telephone stations into electronic system have been prepared, the BTCPA told Trend.
The BTCPA also noted that the work on transmission of telephone station with indexation /60-69 into electronic one started. The total capacity of the stations comprises approximately 67,000 numbers and all work on reconstruction of the stations will be completed in late 2005.
Besides, the BTCPA plans to transmit stations with indexation / 70-79 in early 2006.
The volume of the telephone numbers in Baku telecommunication hub was increased
by 12,000 numbers at the expense of commissioning of new electronic telephone stations with indexation 411/412, 413 in the settlements Rasulzada and Binagadi.
Besides, the action plan of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry for 2005 is envisages installation of new electronic telephone stations.
