Catel carries out assembling at new station in Shamkir

Azerbaijani-U.S. Caspian American Telecommunications LLC (Catel) carries out assembling at new station in Shamkir to expand wireless communication in the region. Similiar wireless stations are in Ganja, Nabran and Khudat, Sadig Humbatov, the Executive Director of the Company, told Trend.

“The Company also holds preparations for establishment of network in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) and constructs wireless communication lines in Lankaran,” Humbatov underlined.

Similar work will be implemented in the direction Baku-Ganja (Hajigabul, Kurdamir, Yevlakh, Goranboy) and Ganja-Aghstafa (Shamkir, Tovuz, Gazakh, Gadabay). The same time new base stations will be built in the territory of the regions Khachmaz, Guba and Gusar.

The head of the enterprise stressed that the Company ordered 65 wireless base stations and 2 of them were ready.

$10m investments will be allocated by the U.S. Overseas Private Д°nvestment Corporation (OPД°C) in this regard.
