The Azerbaijani Central Bank (CBA) has prepared a legal framework to transform the banks in the non-banking credit organisations if they fail to raise their joint capital up to new regulatory requirements, CBA chairman Elman Rustamov told media today.

Individuals’ term deposits in Azerbaijani DemirBank increase by 20 percent
DemirBank’s assets as of May 1, 2013 amount 381 mln manat, which exceeds the same indicator of previous year by 28.1 mln manat or 8%. Volume of the loan portfolio also increased by 2.5% and reached 282.1 mln manat, the bank said today.

Bank of Russia licenses IBA-Moscow bank for operating in precious metals
The IBA-Moscow Ltd. bank received a licence from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for conducting operations with precious metals, including their involvement in deposits and allocation in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. This will expand the range of services provided to the customers of the financial institution.

Number of new enterprises increases in Turkey in April
The number of enterprises registered in Turkey in April 2013 increased by 9.49 percent compared to the previous month, the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Turkey said in a report on its official website on Wednesday.
