Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Igor Chudinov, has signed an instruction, obliging responsible officials to organize an opportune and effective harvesting in autumn 2009, 24.kg reported.
Significant food price growth in 2008 allowed farmers to expand their wheat acres to 403.3 thousand hectares, while the winter wheat crop area has gained 40 thousand hectares.
In 2009 the average wheat capacity made 30.2 centners per hectare, which is 7.2 c/h more than in 2008.
