The largest producer of food products in Azerbaijan, Azersun Holding, has begun to accept olives from local producers, head of public relations and social projects department of the company Afig Safarov said on Oct. 9.
"Olives are taken from local producers at a price of 0.50 manat per kilogram," said Safarov.
According to him, receiving olives from local producers in the Absheron region of Azerbaijan will develop the scope olive planting in the country.
Founded in 1991 in Azerbaijan, Azersun Holding is today a leading company in the country's food production, trade and agriculture.
