The Kazakh government will be able to fulfill its promises to pay off wages to budget employees if there are enough funds in the budget, Kazakh Prime-Minister Karim Masimov said on October 19.
"As soon as there is an opportunity, first, funds will be spent on it," Masimov said at an extended meeting of the parliamentary fraction of ruling party Nur Otan on October 19.
It should be noted that the project of Republican budget over 2010-2012 envisages increase of doctors' and teachers' wages from June 1, 2010. Before, it was planned to do it from January 1, 2010. The project is under consideration in the parliament.
"At present, the Kazakh government has no funds to increase wages to budget employees a half of a year earlier the scheduled term," head of the government said.
