"I would like to see Bishkek as a financial centre of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)," the Kyrgyz leader, Kurmanbek Bakiev, said at the Tuesday's session of the Bishkek City Council, news agency "24.kg" reported.
The president would like to create most favorable conditions for active work of CIS banks in Bishkek, which would attract foreign investors.
