An Azerbaijani citizen temporarily residing in Ukraine's Ivanovo-Frankivsk region was found to be infected with the swine flu after returning to the Azerbaijani region of Kurdamir, the Azerbaijani Health Mnistry said today.
The patient was taken to the Pulmonary Diseases Scientific and Research Institute where he is undergoing treatment.
Prophylactic measures are being taken to prevent the spread of the virus.
