The State Supervision Service on Consumer market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed over 200 kilogram of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry said.
Monitoring carried out in the Nizami and Yasamal districts of Baku, as well as in the Ganja region of Azerbaijan. The expired food products include sausages, confectionery products, vegetable oils, natural juices, beer, milk and milk products, mayonnaise, and more
The service revealed expired products of unknown origin at the Viktori LTD food stock located in the Sabayil district of Baku.
Protocols on administrative violations have been complied on enterprises and individuals.
The State Supervision Service on Consumer market recommends consumers to pay attention to expiry dates and labels of products.
