The movement on the roads of republican importance has been completely restored, the movement of which was previously difficult due to bad weather conditions, the Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan said.
Uninterrupted movement was provided on all roads of national importance, except certain cases, the Ministry said.
Also difficulties were eliminated on the roads Baku-Shamakhi (on 22-35 kilometers), Lerik, Masalli, Ismail, Gabala.
All urgent measures have been taken to prevent freezing of roads, clearing roads from snow, as well as ensuring the smooth and safe movement of trains. Necessary cars and mechanisms have been involved, the work was upped.
Some 174 vehicles and 528 people were involved to clean roads from snow in Baku. Also, 542 vehicles and 1,320 people were involved to eliminate emergency situations on roads of republican importance.
