Azerbaijan, Romania agree to develop education in tourism

Last week, the agreement on cooperation was signed between the College of Tourism of Mingechevir (Azerbaijan) and Economic College "Andrei Barseanu" (Romania) in Brasov (Romania), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said.

The agreement on cooperation was signed on the basis of the protocol of the Azerbaijani-Romanian intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation.

It is planned to organize joint short-term courses for students specializing in the field of tourism services, to improve professional skills within the signed agreement on cooperation.

City of Brasov is the center of the administrative territory of the most developed tourist area in Romania - Transylvania. The Economic College "Andrei Barseanu" is the first professional school in Romania.
