United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed is on a visit to Turkmenistan. The distinguished guest was met by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the Mary Airport in the regional center in eastern Turkmenistan, a Turkmen state press service reported.
The leaders of the two countries exchanged views on a wide range of issues of mutual interest.
The sides expressed confidence that all important agreements reached at a recent meeting in Abu Dhabi during Berdimuhamedov's visit "will further strengthen and intensify the dialogue based on the principles of friendship, trust and mutual benefit."
They also expressed the "utmost readiness of the two countries to build up a productive dialogue, the pledge of successful development of which act the political will, both countries' existing huge economic and resource potential."
UAE is represented by Dragon Oil and Petrofac on the Turkmen market.
