In January, Economic Research Center NGO published its own estimates of inflation in Azerbaijan at 1.06 percent compared to December and 3.25 percent compared to 2009, the NGO reported
In February, the prices for food stuffs increased by 1.9 percent (3.34 percent compared to January), for non- food stuffs by 0.1 percent (deflation hit 2.34 percent in annual calculation) and service tariffs by 0.02 percent (0.14 percent)
In January, inflation rate hit 1.43 percent, prices for food stuffs increased by 2.37 percent, non-food stuffs - 0.27 percent and service tariffs hit 0.29 percent. Inflation rate hit 0.71 percent including prices for food stuffs by 1.44 percent, non-food stuffs decreased by 0.07 percent and servicing by 0.24 percent.
In January the most significant price increase among the food stuffs was observed for fruits and vegetables by 6.25, granulated sugar, tea and spices - 3.86 percent, and the most significant price-cutting for construction materials by 0.65 percent.
In January inflation rate hit 0.5 percent, 1.8 percent in annual calculation, the State Statistics Committee reported. The government forecasts 3 percent inflation by late 2010
