Iran's Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) has declared that the number of its passenger plane fleet has increased to 197, an official says, Press TV reported.
The CAO spokesman Reza Jafarzadeh added that the number of Iran's passenger planes will hit 200 when the holidays of the new Iranian year begin (next week), IRNA reported.
Jafarzadeh noted that Iran's civil aviation fleet has the capacity to carry 33,000 passengers.
He stated that 38 planes joined Iran's civil aviation fleet during the current Iranian year, which ends on March 21.
