The Azerbaijani Health Ministry found violations in the work of some private medical institutions, the ministry reported.
"The ministry revealed violations such as the provision of services without proper authorization, use of reagents in laboratories, the majority of which are life expired, and inadequacy of medical equipment, as well as the lack of permission to import the equipment," the ministry said.
According to experts, reagents used in laboratories, medical facilities, pose serious suspicions about the accuracy of the analysis, which can lead to serious consequences in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Lack of timely calibration of equipment used in laboratories also indicates serious shortcomings in these health facilities, the ministry said.
The activities of these private clinics, in which irregularities were detected, have been suspended and unusable reagents were confiscated. The ministry filed protocols in respect of Offences of Azerbaijan.
