WB to complete specifying technical parameters of construction of deep sewerage flow in Caspian Sea

The World Bank mission led by Manuel Marin, head of the project on construction of deep sewerage flow from Hovsan sewage aeration station in the Caspian Sea, will be on visit to Baku from 17 to 22 May, WB Baku Office said on May 17.

"The main purpose of the visit is to clarify the technical parameters of the project, which will be used to determine the final cost of the project," the same source said.

Initial cost of project is $109 million, $92 million of which will be allocated from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD is part of the WB group).

Consultant of the project is an alliance of French company Seurega (a subsidiary of Veolia) and the Azerbaijani company ASPI. Feasibility of the project was prepared by the Turkish company "Seyas".
