Iran's share in world exports this year will drop to 0.52 percent, the ILNA news agency quoted the Economist Intelligence Unit's forecasts as reporting in October.

Iran's share in world exports was 0.55 percent as a result of last year. By 2013, the figure should reach 0.45 percent.

Iran's exports last year reached $69 billion. This year, the number should reach $78.7 billion.

in accordance with the Economist Intelligence Unit's forecasts, Iranian exports will hit $80.8 billion in 2011, $84.8 billion in 2012.

"Iran's trade turnover has increased by $10 billion to $52 billion over the first seven months of this year compared to the same period last year," Iranian Deputy Economy Minister and head of the Iranian Customs Administration Ardeshir Mohammadi said earlier.

During this period, the major countries importing goods from Iran were Afghanistan, India, UAE, Iraq and China. The main countries exporting their goods to Iran were South Korea, Turkey, Germany, China and the UAE.
