The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development continues conducting monitoring and research to prevent artificially high food prices, the ministry said.
Thus, a decrease in prices on confectionery and meat products of local production up to 5 percent, chicken meat - up to 15 percent, eggs - up to 30 percent was observed.
The State Service continues monitoring and research to prevent cases of manipulation with prices.
