The Azerbaijani State Securities Committee (SSC) has registered an issue prospectus of ordinary non-documentary registered shares of the Azerbaijani insurance company AtaSıgorta in the amount of 5 million manat, the State Committee said in its website statement.
Issue placement will be carried out by converting 200,000 shares with a par value of 24 manat to an equal share quantity, with a face value of 25 manat. Accordingly, the bank's authorized capital will increase by 4.2 percent - from 4.8 million manat to 5 million manat.
AtaSigorta launched insurance operations in September 2004. The company belongs to the group of companies AtaHolding. It provides 22 voluntary and five compulsory insurance services.
AtaSıgorta collected premiums worth 2.45 million manat and paid an insurance compensation worth 0.855 million manat in the first half of 2011.
The official exchange rate is 0.7866 manat to $1 on Aug.8.
