Tajikistan will draw preferential loans for the Vakhdat-Yavan rail road construction, Avesta.tj reported on Wednesday.
Tajik Finance Minister Safarali Nadjmiddinov said the Tajik State Railway Company will be free of VAT and customs taxes while supplying special equipment needed for this project's implementation to the country.
This preference will allow the company to buy additional items of equipment, the Minister added.
He said the new railroad will be 46 kilometers long.
