The 6th Turkmenistan International Telecommunications & IT Conference 2012 will be held in Ashgabat on Sept.17-18.
The organisers of the event are the Communication Ministry of Turkmenistan, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Summit Trade Events Ltd.

According to the conferecne's official website, the event will highlight the investment opportunities in the development of Turkmenistan's telecommunication, broadcasting and and IT sectors.
According to Comminication Minister of Turkmenistan Bairamgeldi Ovezov, TurkmenTEL 2012 will provide a platform for strengthening regional and global cooperation in the ICT sector and provide telecomminication community the opportunity to meet and discuss issues key to the successful development of communication and information technologies, to exchange know-how, to determinbe cooperation and investment opportunities.
Among the speakesr at the conference are the representatives of such companies, as Siemens Enterprise, Cisco Systems, Eastwind, MTS MITAS Telecom Systems.
