Azerbaijan State Caspian Sea Shipping Company has received ten new tankers since 2004, head of the company Aydin Bashirov said.

Bashirov noted that the company also received one cargo ship and commissioned four ferries during the period.

"The delivery of two ferries, built at the shipyard Uljanik in Croatia to Baku for ten months is an achievment of 2012," he said.

The length of the new ferries - 154.8 meters, width - 17.5 m, deadweight - 5000 tons, ships can carry 54 railroad cars. The new ferries will follow by the route of the Great Silk Road.
