Lithuanian Transport and Communication Minister will take part in the international exhibition BakuTel-2012.
The delegation headed by Lithuanian Transport and Communication Minister Eligijus Masiulis will arrive in Azerbaijan on November 4-5, the Lithuanian Embassy in Azerbaijan said on Wednesday.
This was discussed during a meeting of Ambassador Hasan Mammadzade with Lithuanian Minister.
Masiulis welcomed the forthcoming visit to Azerbaijan and stressed that he attaches great importance to the relations with Azerbaijan.
During the visit, Lithuanian Minister will take part in the international exhibition BakuTel-2012, which will bring together ten leading Lithuanian companies.
Minister and Ambassador have also discussed bilateral relations, in particular the issues related to the further strengthening of the relations in the sphere of transport and information technologies. They emphasized the dynamic development of these relations. They expressed satisfaction with the joint activity in many projects implemented by Azerbaijani and Lithuanian companies.
The ambassador stressed that Azerbaijan is interested in expanding the cooperation in transport and information technologies and is open to the initiatives and proposals from Lithuania.
