Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev thinks that it is necessary to create a single grain holding in the country, the president said at a meeting in 2012 and tasks for the "Kazakhstan-2050" strategy implementation today.
"In the January statement, it said that the creation of a single grain holding was ordered to comprehensively resolve the problems of grain companies, effective grain sale on the world market, consolidation of small enterprises into large ones," Nazarbayev said.
In response to the President's statement, Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov stressed that he does not see the need for the legal form of the holding, as operators around the world working independently." We learned this in the Soviet period, when everything was planned."
"I think that it is necessary to create," he said. "There must be a single policy for the sale of grain. I have not just given orders, I know this subject matter."
