As a result of last week's exchange, the rate of the Azerbaijani manat to the U.S. dollar, established based on results from the Baku Inter-bank Currency Exchange (BICEX), increased by 0.0022 points (0.22 percent). The average rate was set at 0.78428 manat to 1 U.S. dollar.
Deals concluded last week at BEST with transition to currency (T+0) comprised: Jan. 28 - $0.986 million with exchange rate of 0.7856 AZN/USD, Jan. 29 - $3.364 million with exchange rate of 0.7856 AZN/USD, Jan. 30 - $4 million with exchange rate of 0.7834 AZN/USD, Jan.31 -$14.835 million with exchange rate of 0.7834 AZN/USD, Feb.1 - $0.470 million with exchange rate of 0.7834 AZN/USD.
