The Islamic Solidarity Fund today allocated $29 million to 389 projects across its member-states, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said today, the OIC reported.
He added that the Islamic Solidarity Fund feels the need for additional sources of income.
Ihsanoglu said that the OIC appealed for funds to the heads of states from the Persian Gulf such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates as well as to Turkey.
