Kazakhstan can collect 15 million tons of cereals in net weight as of the agricultural year, deputy chairman of the board of Kazakh Kazagro holding Dauren Mahazhanov said today.
"According to the data, the harvest is expected to reach 15 million tons in net collection," Mahazhanov said at a briefing in the central communication service under the Kazakh President on Monday. "Regarding the export objects, market entities will make a decision themselves, as well as through a single grain fund."
Kazakhstan delivered 7.1 million tons of cereals for export from 2012-2013. According to Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov, Kazakhstan will continue focusing on its traditional grain sales markets- Central Asia, the Caucasus, the western part of China, Iran and Afghanistan.
