The index of producer prices for industrial products in July rose by 4.1 percent, while decreasing by 5.2 percent compared to the same period in 2012, the State Statistics Committee reported on Wednesday.
Within a month, producer prices in the extraction of metal ores rose by 2.5 percent, prices of stone, sand, gravel, salt and other mining products declined by 0.3 percent while the production of oil and natural gas increased in price by 4.8 percent.
Prices for tobacco products fell by five percent, for installation and repair of machinery and equipment - by 2.2 percent, for other fabricated metal products - by 1.8 percent, for building materials - by 1.1 percent, for electrical, jewelry, music, sports and music equipment - by 0.6 percent, for beverage and rubber mass - by 0.5 percent, for foodstuffs - by 0.4 percent, for wood processing and wood products - by 0.2 percent.
In July, the price for chemical products went up by 2.8 percent, leather and leather products, footwear and steel industry - by 2.2 percent, textiles - by 1.6 percent, paper and cardboard - 1.2 percent, clothing - by 0.9 percent, petroleum products - by 0.8 percent, furniture - by 0.3 percent, computers and electronic equipment - by 0.1 percent.
