The State Securities Committee (SSC) of Azerbaijan registered the emission prospectus of privileged ordinary non-documentary shares of OJSC Unibank for a total of 6,000,048 manats, a report of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) said on Tuesday.
According to the report, the emission includes 2,205,900 shares at par value of 2.72 manats.
The placement's underwriter is the OJSC Unicapital.
Paid-up share capital is 63,565,184 manats.
Unibank was established on October 15, 2002 as a result of the merger of two private commercial banks in Azerbaijan, Mbank and Promtechbank. Unibank is a universal financial and credit institution rendering retail and corporate services. The bank's shareholders include the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (15.1515 percent) and the German Investment Corporation DEG (8.3333 percent).
The rest of the equity has been distributed amongst shareholders as follows: Eldar Garibov owns 50.8083 percent, Igor Yakovenko - 17.5301 percent, Zemfira Jafarova - 5.5 percent, minority shareholders - 2.6767 percent.
