Turkey continues its investments as part of the economic development of the country’s regions.

Turkey continues its investments as part of the economic development of the country's regions, Haber 7 TV channel reported on Nov.25.

According to the TV channel, around 537 million lira will be invested in the Black Sea city of Trabzon as part of the regional economic development.

The TV channel also reported that different spheres in Trabzon will receive investment and it is expected to implement various projects during the next two years.

It was earlier reported that 230 billion lira will be invested in Turkey's Black Sea region within the economic development of the regions.

According to the report, some 30 billion lira of the total volume of investments will be spent in the development of the public sector and 200 billion lira for the cities private sector.

Earlier, Turkish Minister of Economy Zafer Chaglayan said that all conditions have been created in the country for stimulating economic development.

The official exchange rate for Nov.25 is 2.0164 TRY/USD.
