It is planned to construct a plant for production of modern passenger cars in the area of the Ganja train depot, Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov said at the opening ceremony of the administrative building of the Ganja Train Station on Dec.29.
The minister said that currently in this regard negotiations are being held with the Swiss company Stadler.
"The project is at the stage of preparation of the documents. It is planned that the implementation of the project will start in several months," the minister said.
