In Jan-Feb. 2014, companies dealing with the production of construction materials in Azerbaijan, manufactured goods worth 46.5 million manats which is 55.2 percent more than the figures for 2013, according to a report from the Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee.
In Jan-Feb. 2014 the companies produced 266,900 tons of cement, an annual growth of 45.1 percent, 36,100 tons of plaster , up 2.8 times and 188,600 tons of ready-mixed concrete which was an increase of 29.5 percent and 46,300 tons of bitumen, an increase of 7.2 percent, according to the report.
As of March 1, 2014, around 15 million manat worth of finished construction product stocks were created which accounts for 4.8 percent of the total finished goods held in the country's warehouses.
