The Azerbaijani Ministry of Interior Affairs has received the right to verify weight of large and heavy vehicles in compliance with actual dimensions, the corresponding decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan said.
The measurement of the actual size of large size and heavy vehicles, special equipment and tools, as well as measuring their weight by means of stationary and portable scales, at any stretch of roads and checkpoints, along with the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan, may also be undertaken by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country.
