The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan transferred to the state budget 597.49 million manats on customs duties and taxes in January- May 2014, which makes up 40 percent of the annual forecast.
The deductions increased by 14.3 percent compared to the same period of 2013.
The deductions amounted to 133.57 million manats in May, which is 13.98 percent more than in the same month of last year. The revenues from customs duties in May totaled 20.61 million manats (compared to 23.1 million manats in May 2013), the value added tax of imported goods - 105.42 million manats (88.52 million manats), excise tax - 6.13 million manats (3.94 million manats), road tax - 1.42 million manats (1.63 million manats), according to the report.
The forecast of deductions through the State Customs Committee for 2014 was set in the amount of 1.52 billion manats.
The official exchange rate is 0.7842 AZN/USD on June 11.
