Iran has slammed Israel's latest airstrikes on the Gaza Strip and the recent abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank.

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham further urged regional and international institutions to condemn what she called "Tel Aviv's aggression against Palestinians".

"Israel's aggressions expose its weakness," she said.

"The recent event also shows their internal disagreements," Afkham added.

She also called for measures to secure the release of the abducted Palestinians.

Israeli forces have carried out several air attacks on the Gaza Strip over the past several days.

They also detained nearly two hundred Palestinians including 10 members of the Palestinian parliament in the West Bank," Press TV reported.

The crackdown came after three Israeli settlers went missing north of Hebron on Thursday.

Tel Aviv accuses Hamas of kidnapping the settlers but Hamas has denied the allegation.
