Azerbaijani insurance hopes to raise odd in its favor

Pasha Heyat Sigorta, an Azerbaijani insurance company wants to implement four major projects to ensure comprehensive and dynamic development in its activities.

The company's Director of Strategic Development and Planning Israil Garayev made the remarks at a press-conference dedicated to the results of the company's activity in the first half of the year.

One of these projects is the development of software on single IT-platform for the complete automation of business processes and operations, he said.

"Automation of all operations is very important for financial organizations in particular for insurance companies. Without it it is impossible to provide neither efficiency, nor accuracy and correct accounting. This is one of the requirements of the law "On insurance activity", in which it was prescribed that all insurance companies should have electronic information system by January 1, 2015. In this regard, all business processes of our company will be automated by the end of this year," he noted.

The second project which is being implemented by the "Pasha Heyat Sigorta" is the study of the life insurance market.

"This step is aimed at implementation of the analysis of market segments, and subsequently development of the most popular insurance products for customers. The market research is carried out by a professional company. This will allow us to act on the basis of the market requirements, rather than on our own desires and judgment," Garayev said.

Furthermore, along with this, the company is working on the creation of a "call-center."
"Call-centers" are a very important elements for all companies. Therefore, we want to create a multifunctional "call-center," through which it will be possible to inform the public about our company's products.

At present, one more step, implemented by the "Pasha Heyat Sigorta" company is the systematization of the processes of training and staff development, as well as conducting trainings and seminars, according to Garayev.

"In general, we prefer talented youth. We want to develop a systematic form for their training, improvement of qualification," he noted.

The projects are currently underway and will be completed by the end of this year, according to Garayev.

"Pasha Heyat Sigorta" is company with the highest capital on the country.

It entered the market in February 2011 with a capital of seven million AZN. Early this year, the company's capital increased by 60 percent - up to 40.250 million AZN. The sole shareholder and the holder of the new company's shares is Pasha Holding.

The official exchange rate on July 18 is 0.7843 AZN/USD.
