Turkmen state budget revenue executed by almost 118 percent

The execution of the state budget of Turkmenistan totaled 117.7 percent in January-July 2014, the Turkmen Finance Ministry reported.

The execution of the state budget of Turkmenistan totaled 117.7 percent in January-July 2014, the Turkmen Finance Ministry reported.

The expenditures of the state budget made up 97.1 percent during the reported period, the ministry said.

The results for the seven months were announced at last meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted with satisfaction that, in general the main macroeconomic indicators in seven months clearly demonstrate the progressive development character of national economy, the report said.

The revenues make up about 94,129,100 million manat, expenses - 97,829,100 manat. In recent years, the official rate of manat to dollar remains at 2.85 Turkmen manat in the state budget of Turkmenistan approved by the Majlis (Parliament) in 2014.

The budget revenues of Turkmenistan are formed by means of industries such as oil and gas, chemical, electricity, construction. The budget reflects the progressive development of agricultural industry, transport, communication, textile and food industries.

It is expected that revenues will grow at the expense of further development and support for non-state enterprises.

Turkmenistan takes one of the key positions in the region on natural gas supplies of which the importers are Russia, China, Iran.
