Close relatives of an employee of Neftegazstroy, who died falling to the sea from the platform on the Guneshli field, will receive compensation payment, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), which is an operator of the field said.
According to initial reports, 50-year-old employee of the trust Faik Aliyev fell to the sea during the storm due to breaking the safety guidelines during repairs. At present SOCAR's special commission is holding investigation.
