The fourth international Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan on Apr. 22 - 23.
The event is organized by Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) and Confidence Capital.
The conference aims to give participants the latest information on the state of the oil and gas industry in the Caspian region, to analyze trends and possible scenarios for the development of individual hydrocarbon transportation projects, the industry and the region as a whole.
The conference aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the developing economic trends and geopolitical processes in the Caspian Region.
The conference will focus on the development of transport infrastructure; regional cooperation; crude, gas and oil products trading; logistics solutions; analysis of existing and planned oil and gas projects in the region.
This event will bring together over 150 industry professionals from the Caspian Region itself - Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran - as well as from their long-standing partners such as Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, and other European, North American and Asia-Pacific countries, the Caspian's energy sector potential and strategy of cooperation with its neighbours in hydrocarbons export
The conference will discuss possible scenarios for the division of hydrocarbon reserves depending on the delimitation of the legal status of the Caspian, balance of geopolitical interests in the Caspian region - Caspian countries, Europe, USA, Asia-Pacific, review of key projects in the region, including Nabucco / South Stream, the Transcaspian pipeline, the Blue Stream, the Baku - Tbilisi - Erserum, the Burgas - Alexandropolis, the Baku - Tbilisi - Ceyhan.
The event will also mull new markets for the Caspian gas and main transportation routes, Caspian region transit opportunities, Caspian gas reserves, and the Caspian investment projects.
