Analysts of one of the world's largest U.S. bank JPMorgan predicts the average price of U.S. WTI crude oil at $78.25 per barrel compared to $68.75 per barrel, which the bank predicted earlier.
As stated in the monthly report of bank's analysts, the highest price for WTI this year will occur in the fourth quarter - $85 per barrel. In the first quarter of this year, the price for this kind of oil will be $72 per barrel, in the second - $76, in the third - $80 per barrel.
According to analysts of the bank, the average price of Brent North Sea oil in 2010 will also reach $78.25 per barrel. In 2011 analysts predict the price of WTI and Brent at $90 per barrel. In the fourth quarter of next year, analysts predict the price to reach $95.
Last week, oil prices fell to the lowest level over month and a half. As a result of trades on Friday, January 29, on the New York Mercantile Exchange the price of the March futures for U.S. WTI fell by $0.75 to $72.89 per barrel. On the London Stock Exchange the price of the March futures for North Sea Brent oil fell by $0.67 to $71.46 dollars per barrel.
