The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) said Wednesday that its oil price rose to 81.83 dollars on the previous day, regaining some recent losses, DPA reported.
The group's basket price rebounded by 0.94 dollars per barrel (159 litres) on Tuesday, after having shed nearly 2 dollars at the start of the week.
OPEC's 12 members produce over a third of the world's crude oil.
