The oil price of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) rose 1.09 dollars towards the end of the week and crossed the 75-dollar mark, the group said Friday, DPA reported.
The cartel's basket price reached 75.24 dollars per barrel (159 litres) on Friday.
OPEC's 12 members produce over a third of the world's crude oil supplies.
