The oil price of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) moved down slightly to 72.51 dollars at mid-week, the group said Thursday, DPA reported.
The cartel's basket price inched down by 0.18 dollars per barrel (159 litres) on Wednesday.
OPEC's 12 members pump over a third of the world's crude oil.
