Kazakhstan will introduce requirements for motor vehicles on harmful substance emissions according to Euro-3 from July 1, the Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry reported.

Kazakhstan will introduce requirements for motor vehicles on harmful substance emissions according to Euro-3 from July 1, the Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry reported.

"The import and production of motor vehicles that do not meet these requirements will be banned from July 1," the agency reported.

This will not cover cars already operating in Kazakhstan.
