Iran and Venezuela agreed to implement an offshore project and construct a platform construction yard, Pananews reported quoting deputy of Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company Amir Saeed Najafi as saying.
"Under the agreement, Venezuelan and Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company will commence to build a platform construction yard soon," he said.
Najafi urged that transferring equipments from Persian Gulf to South American area is Iran's main problem. Long distance will complicate Iran's position in the competitive market.
