Bakielektrikshebeke has entered the enhanced operation mode for the Eurovision-2012 song contest, the company said on Monday.

"The main purpose of the enhanced mode of operation is to provide Baku Crystal Hall, conference room, the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, railway station, the Heydar Aliyev sports and concert complex, Palace of Hand Games, Baku Business Center, Seaside National Park, Historical and Architectural Reserve "Icherisheher", museums,
streets, parks and fountains, lighting systems of buildings and places of residence of tourists arriving in the capital, including hotels, guest houses, residential buildings, restaurants, bars and other facilities with a high level of energy supply," the message said.

The individuals responsible for these issues and a schedule of district offices' duty were determined within the transition to the enhanced mode of operation.

Thus, 110/35-kilovolt substations, covering the city center, were connected to the SCADA system. This will allow informing and responding quickly in case of problems at the substations. If there are problems, the company urges customers to call the hotline - 440 29
21 and emergency service center - 199.
