Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, will host a second International Oil Exhibition and Conference 'Development of the Caspian Sea Shelf' on June 14-15, Kazakhstan's Association of Oil, Gas and Energy Sector Organizations KAZENERGY reported on Tuesday.
During the Exhibition and Conference, operators of the largest oil and gas projects, key experts and government representatives of the Caspian Sea countries - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan will discuss the problems and prospects of development of the Caspian Sea shelf.
Among the main themes of the conference are economic and political conditions of the Caspian Sea, features of financing and legal support of international companies and organizations for their successful activity in the region and key offshore projects in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan.
According to the Association, the conference gives to all interested parties an opportunity to discuss issues related to the development of the Caspian Sea shelf in an informal atmosphere, speak with experts and representatives of energy ministries and departments.
The conference will take place in Rixos President hotel, Astana and start on June 14, 10:00 a.m.
