Tajik President Emomali Rahmon within his trip to Brazil meet with the World Bank's (WB) Vice President Rachel Kyte, Avesta.tj reported on Friday.
Kyte highly appreciated Tajik President's speech, adding that the President's proposals in the energy sphere deserve international support.
While discussing bilateral cooperation, the sides expressed satisfaction with the level of WB's support for the social and economic development of Tajikistan.
They also discussed expertise of Rohun hydropower plan (HPP), the implementation of this project, as well as the CASA-100 regional project.
The sides expressed their readiness to continue constructive cooperation between Tajikistan and the WB.
